4QDeut-q (4Q44) preserves 32:9–10 and 32:37–43, and is the witness to the other famous variant at 32:43. The 32:8 reading rests on 4QDeut-j (4Q37) alone.
This error was ours, and it was stated to the author in conversation before the pass caught it. It arrived through a summary page that carried the conflation, and it was repeated without checking which verses each scroll actually preserves—the exact failure this apparatus exists to catch.
