OR-C-2026-010 · CORRECTION
THE PUBLISHED CLAIM
Hamartia is rooted in archery—an arrow falling short of the mark.
THE CORRECTED BOUNDARY
The older Greek sense is failing to hit or obtain, from a thrown spear. New Testament usage is already moral.
THE CORRECTION · WHY THE CLAIM MOVED
The archery image is not supported. The Codex keeps the picture as its own illustration and no longer presents it as the word’s history.
THE RECORD STATE
The claim and correction are published at tab and entry depth. Dependent copy is governed by this boundary wherever the claim appears.
Affected locationsBook Three · Volume Zero
Date precisionMonth-level date preserved from the supplied register; no day has been invented.
As-run reportThe source-linked report has not yet been transferred from the working record. No report has been invented to close the seam.
SOURCES · NAMED AND LOCATABLE
An entry is not permitted to make a missing report look complete. Published source trails remain linked; pending transfers remain visibly pending.
TRANSFER STATUS
The correction is public. Its source-linked as-run report is not yet published in this Record. The wording above is transferred from the supplied standing register; it is not a substitute for the report.
SUPERSESSION
It supersedes no earlier published entry and has not been superseded. If that changes, both directions of the chain will remain visible here.
